REIKI

A calm supportive experience
Reiki sessions at JANORÀ are offered as a quiet, non-invasive form of energy work. They are designed to support rest, regulation, and a sense of grounding — without effort or expectation.
Sessions are held in a calm, contained space and can be received fully clothed, allowing the body to settle naturally.
What is Reiki?
Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive form of energy work that originated in Japan.
It is based on the understanding that the body has its own innate capacity to restore balance when given the right conditions.
During a Reiki session, the practitioner offers attentive presence and light touch or hands placed just above the body. The intention is to support relaxation, regulation, and a sense of inner steadiness — allowing the body and nervous system to soften naturally.

Reiki does not involve manipulation, pressure, or force. It is received passively and requires no effort from the client.

Reiki is a complementary practice and is not a substitute for medical or psychological care.
How are sessions offered?

In-person Reiki sessions take place in a calm, quiet setting. You remain fully clothed and lie comfortably on the treatment table. Hands may rest gently on or just above specific areas of the body, following a simple, intuitive structure. There is no requirement to talk or share — the session is held in silence with calming relaxing music, unless you prefer otherwise.

Distance Reiki sessions are offered for those who prefer to receive Reiki from their own space or are unable to attend in person. These sessions are carried out at an agreed time and are held with the same level of presence and intention as in-person work. You are invited to rest comfortably during the session, allowing space for stillness and integration. Many clients find distance Reiki equally supportive, experiencing a sense of calm, grounding, or clarity.

Reiki may be supportive if you are experiencing

Periods of stress or emotional overload · fatigue or burnout · difficulty switching off or resting · times of transition or change · feeling disconnected from the body · a need for supportive rest alongside other forms of care · a desire for quiet, non-verbal support

While each experience is individual, many people choose Reiki as a way to slow down and reconnect with themselves.

Reiki does not aim to fix or force change, but rather to offer a supportive space in which the body can settle and recalibrate in its own way.
